Boost Your Fat Burning With These Tips

Burning Belly Fat
Everybody knows it and everybody hates it. Summer is coming and the New Year's resolutions to eat healthy and exercise weren't kept. The beach body you were aiming for hasn't been reached, so now you try to burn off the excess fat as fast as possible. The biggest so-called problem zone is the belly, because that's where fat reserves prefer to collect, which presents many people with a big obstacle. So the question is: how can you burn fat in this area specifically?
First, it should be mentioned that genetics determine where fat prefers to settle and wreak havoc. Likewise, genetics determine where excess fat comes off first, which is why the pesky belly fat can't be burned off in a targeted way. What matters for us, though, is reaching our beloved beach body, and that's why it's important to take the first step at all.
Burning Belly Fat: The Theory
For the first step you need the necessary know-how. In theory, you lose weight when you take in fewer calories from food than you need. An adult man needs an average of 2,000 calories and a woman 1,800 calories. The calories you need are made up of your activity energy expenditure and your basal metabolic rate, and have to be calculated individually for each person. Height, weight and daily activity are decisive for this calculation. The basal metabolic rate defines the amount of calories a person uses through natural processes such as breathing, heartbeat or regulating body temperature. Activity expenditure describes the calories burned through active things like walking, jogging or jumping rope. Put simply: if you eat fewer calories than your body needs, you're in a calorie deficit and you lose weight. Gaining weight works the same way in reverse: if you eat more than you need, you gain. Proper nutrition is therefore more important than exercise, and that's where people who want to lose weight often go wrong. They exercise but don't eat right, or in other words aren't in a calorie deficit. Nutrition accounts for about 70% of success and exercise for 30%.Burning Belly Fat: The Practice
Exercise isn't unimportant, though, because once your diet is right, certain activities can give you a helping hand. Movement raises your activity energy expenditure, so your body burns calories because it uses more energy than it takes in. To successfully lose belly fat, there has to be a harmonious interplay between the right diet and enough exercise. But enough about theory and practice, because the hardest part is getting started. Now it's your turn: take the first step and get closer to your dream beach body day by day with this new knowledge. Together we can declare war on that pesky belly fat. Get out of your comfort zone and tackle the flab!
