Not every metabolism is the same

Most of us know someone who can eat whatever they want without gaining weight. People like that are usually said to have a metabolism, while other people supposedly have a bad metabolism, because if they merely look at certain treats, their waistband already gets tighter.

But we can influence our metabolism, through an adapted lifestyle with a balanced diet and regular exercise, and then we will surely lose a pound or two. When it comes to metabolism, you also hear or read about metabolic rate, but that is one and the same thing: the metabolism, which is the foundation of our life and regulates the important processes in our body. A good metabolism prevents, to a certain degree, susceptibility to colds and gives us a more vital feeling of life.Metabolism Enough exercise and a healthy diet get a sluggish metabolism going again, and you should take that chance.

Why it's important to know your metabolism

Everyone processes the components absorbed from food in a different way. There are a whole range of different calories, and these bring different abilities with them. Among other things, calories are broken down to different degrees, and people like to speak of "easy gainers." In our affluent society, these easy gainers quickly build up fat pads, because they extract the greatest possible amount of calories. Things that have a lasting influence on your metabolism:
  • Protein
  • plenty of exercise
  • spicy food
  • Water
There are three body types: ectomorph body type (fast metabolism, hardly stores any fat, finds it hard to build mass) - mesomorph body type (stores little body fat, builds muscle very quickly, but also loses it very quickly) - endomorph body type (builds muscle quickly, but fat even much faster).Metabolism

How to lose weight according to your metabolism

The body can be stimulated and changed by drinking enough water, which supports your entire digestion, and cold water stimulates the metabolism particularly strongly. The German Nutrition Society recommends 2.7 liters (about 91 ounces) of water a day. Working more movement and exercise into your daily life stimulates your metabolism and ensures a higher basal metabolic rate. Recommended and very effective: high-intensity interval training (HIIT). Regular meals boost the body, because our body has to expend additional energy to process the nutrients. Definitely give up fast food, make sure you get enough sleep and avoid stress!
